Vote in support of new Hubble school

We are writing to urge Community Unit School District 200 voters to support a new Hubble Middle School on the Tuesday ballot.

We have lived in the district for 35 years and our two children were fortunate enough to attend our public schools in District 200. Hubble was in dire need of repair even when our daughter attended it 13 years ago and the need for a new school is way past due. Even though we are now empty-nesters we still appreciate what a good school district, park district, and city have on the value of our home and life in our community.

We would much rather pay taxes locally thereby reducing our federal income tax.

Also, putting the current Hubble site on the tax rolls through development will have a positive impact for our taxing bodies.

Please vote "yes" on Tuesday for a new Hubble Middle School.
