Change the reserve banking system

Politicians have been talking a lot about making change. Why even the Constitution talks about it, in a way, saying the government has the right to "coin" money.

So how come Congress allows the outsourcing of the printing our money to the Federal Reserve Bank? This bank, as everyone should be aware, is no more part of the federal government then Federal Express.

It is just a group of independent banks, some not even American. Yet they are in control of our money.

When our politicians decide that the government needs a few extra billion dollars they go to the FRB and it just "prints" however much they want and then like any good bank, it charges us interest to borrow it.

Naturally, to pay back this money a source of income was needed, which was the sole purpose for the creation of the income tax. Seeing as how the government has the right to coin its "own" money "interest free," this then begs the question, why does Congress keep borrowing money from and paying interest to these independent banks?

So to all those politicians that say it is time for a change, how many are willing to change this? Are they aware of this waste of tax dollars? Are they even aware of what is going on? The only one even talking about it is Ron Paul.
