• On Tuesday, Ellis Middle School will host Internet Safety Parent Night from 6:30 to 8 p.m. in the auditorium, 225 S. Liberty St., Elgin. Phil Morris from the Kane County Regional Office of Education will present a program on the dangers of the Internet, how to protect your children and how to use the Internet safely.
Channing
• On Tuesday, a health clinic, sponsored by Greater Elgin Family Care Center and U-46 Health Services, will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. at Channing Elementary School, 63 S. Channing St. in Elgin. Services provided include well-baby exams, school and sports physicals, shots, lead or diabetic screening and care for minor illnesses.

• On Tuesday, the first-, second- and fifth-grade students at Wayne Elementary will present their Winter Sing at 6:30 p.m. at South Elgin High School, 760 E. Main St. Students in third, fourth and sixth grades will perform at 7:45 p.m.
