Clearbrook fundraisers

Wine tasting: The Friends of Clearbrook wine tasting will be at 6:30 p.m. Feb. 23 at the Stonegate Banquet and Conference Centre, 2401 W. Higgins Road, Hoffman Estates.

The event features wines, blue martinis and a live performance by professional ballroom dancers. It benefits Clearbrook's Employment Services Program for adults with disabilities. Casino Night: The Clearbrook Guardians Casino Night is from 3 p.m. to 1 a.m. March 8 at the Getz Workshop, 746 S. Vermont Ave., Palatine.

Roll the dice and play your cards when Las Vegas-style gambling comes to town. Over 600 gamblers play poker, blackjack, roulette, craps and other wheel games. Admission is free. Afternoon at the Improv: Enjoy live comedy from noon to 5 p.m. April 6 at Improv Comedy, Woodfield Mall, Schaumburg.

The event also features food and silent and live auctions at this benefit for the Partners in Adult Learning Program, a Clearbrook partnership. Cost is $75 per person. Shining Star Ball: The Shining Star Ball will be from 7 p.m. to midnight April 25 at the Four Seasons Hotel, 120 E. Delaware Place, Chicago.
