Obama lacks ability to bring change

I find it interesting that Barack Obama is campaigning that he is the candidate for "change." I would like someone from the media to ask him to explain that if he is the new leader for change, then why during the Cook County election in 2006 did he back Todd Stroger?

When he had the opportunity to show leadership and be a conduit of change in the financially mismanaged and bureaucratic Cook County government, he threw his weight down the party line.

If Obama did not have the strength, leadership and "ability to bring about real change" (this is a quote from his own web site) in his home state and backyard of Cook County, how does he expect us to believe he can do it in Washington?
