Bartell offers genuine change

The Republican voters of Arlington Heights, Mount Prospect, Elk Grove Village and surrounding communities have an important choice to make at the primary election on Feb 5th -- a choice important for our communities, and an opportunity to re-establish the stature of the Northwest suburbs in the Illinois General Assembly.

As former public servants with combined experience in state and local government exceeding 30 years, we believe Laura Bartell has the best attributes that are so vitally needed for a state representative to be effective in these difficult times we face in Illinois sate government.

Since Gov. Blagojevich and the Democrats have taken over all three branches of state government, tax and spending programs have been out of control. We are spending money we do not have, bonding and borrowing funds which future generations will incur.

We have government that does not govern and leaders who do not lead. We need to elect a legislator that will stand for what we believe in.

We cannot afford to elect someone with an agenda of expanding state programs and providing taxpayer incentives, like driver licenses to illegal immigrants. We need a new approach and a genuine change.

Fortunately, we have a strong, articulate Republican candidate in our community who will focus on our needs.

Laura Bartell is dedicated to her family and to our community. She has a strong business background, the family values and the personality to address the chaos in Springfield.

We need a state representative who will bring a common sense, people-oriented approach in providing service to our constituents while protecting the taxpayers hard earned interests, for a change.
