Greenberg will help small business

Steve Greenberg is a Republican candidate for Congress in the 8th district and out of all the candidates running, he most closely reflects my values and the values of the district as a whole.

Most important in my mind when selecting a candidate is his economic credentials.

After the grotesque side-show of a budgetary process that Rod Blagojevich put Illinois through this year, selecting a candidate who knows what he is talking about when it comes to the economy is paramount.

Prior to running, he worked with small businesses and helped them stay competitive with the big retailers like Wal-Mart and Target.

Steve knows what small businesses need to succeed; he knows what the ludicrous tax policies would do to them.

The Republican Party has made some mistakes in the past and they paid for them in 2006 -- but whatever their flaws, the Republicans are unquestionably better when it comes to the economy.

And in the coming year, we are going to need officials who know how the economy works more than ever.
