MB Financial Bank is teaming up with B & E Accounting Services to host the year's first Mount Prospect Downtown Merchants Association Business After-Hours event from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at MB Financial Bank, 15 E. Prospect Ave., Mount Prospect. The event is open to the business community.

Oakton Hosts Early Childhood Center
Parents of young children are invited to attend open house events sponsored by the Early Childhood Education Centers at Oakton Community College. Visits will take place 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Jan. 26, at the Skokie campus, 7701 N. Lincoln Ave., and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Feb. 2 at the Des Plaines campus, 1600 E. Golf Road.
