Spring Training: Zion Benton High School will hold a six-week Spring Training 2008 baseball program for players in first through 12th grade from Sunday to Feb. 24. Zion Benton High School head coach Heath Cummings will direct the program in conjunction with Midwest Baseball Academy. Sessions will be offered in advanced hitting and pitching at a cost of $99 for six weeks. Space is limited. Registration is now under way. GTAAA registration: Grant Township Area Athletic Association will hold 2008 Registration for baseball, softball, t-ball and Rising Stars for boys ages 4 to 14 and girls ages 4 to 18, and girls basketball registration for the Grant High School Feeder Program for girls in fifth through eighth grade from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Fox Lake Volunteer Fire Department Bingo Hall, 114 Washington Ave., Ingleside, at the corner of Washington Street and Lincoln Avenue.
