APP gets FDA nod for injection drug

SCHAUMBURG -- APP Pharmaceuticals Inc., a manufacturer of injectable pharmaceuticals, on Thursday announced it received approval from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration of its Polymyxin B Sulfate for injection. Polymyxin B Sulfateused is used for the treatment of acute infections.
