Comcast to offer Blast for Internet
SCHAUMBURG -- Comcast Corp. said Tuesday it now has a new ultra-fast service called Blast that offers high-speed Internet in the Chicago and South Bend, Ind., markets. With Blast, customers can receive download speeds up to 16 megabytes -- 10 times faster than 1.5 mgps DSL service -- and upload speeds of up to 2 mbps. With video, it costs $69.95 a month.
