Why do we give so much foreign aid?
What is with foreign aid?
My problem is this; I lost a lung to cancer and applied for Social Security disability.
I was denied. Their excuse: I could still do substantial work. For what, to supply foreign aid?
I heard on the news, we give Pakistan $150 million a month. Are we nuts? I'd like to know what we give other countries per year. Can you imagine what America could do with all of this money? There would be no poverty or health care issues.
The president should be in office two years, the rest of the politicians one year. If they're not doing what Americans want, vote them out. They all make promises until they get in office; then, it's business as usual. They have no problem giving themselves raises or big pension benefits while we go along with the program.
Getting back to foreign aid, where does all of this money come from? We as Americans should demand accountability, but we don't.
Why don't politicians work for Americans first, then for foreign countries?
