SRI survey reveals hiring optimism

A survey by Schaumburg-based SRI, which offers full-service staffing and human resource solutions, indicates that 56 percent of middle market companies in the Chicago area plan to hire one to five salaried employees in the next year. Nearly 20 percent expect to hire more than 10 salaried employees in the next year, indicating optimism in the hiring arena. Forty percent have between 101 and 500 employees and nearly 26 percent have less than 100 employees.
