Four injured in Schaumburg crash

Four people were taken to a local hospital after a three-vehicle crash in Schaumburg, authorities said Sunday.

The crash took place at 2:49 p.m. on Schaumburg Road. At least one vehicle crossed the median and overturned, according to the Schaumburg fire department.

The injured, who were not identified, were transported to Alexian Brothers Medical Center in Elk Grove Village. Their conditions were not available, firefighters said.

Police are investigating the crash. No further information was available.
