Greatest gift is the 'power of giving'

Christmas is the season of giving right? Well many school, families, and parishes are doing their part to help out those who are less fortunate.

Countless humble people in my community have donated their money and time to adopt a gift of love family. If you're doing it as a class, as my grade did, we each had to earn $5 by doing chores around our house. We gave it to our teacher and our room moms bought gifts. During our religion class the next day everyone worked together by wrapping the gifts and making cards for our family.

It felt good to know that we were helping kids just like us who don't get anything for Christmas (except for Santa Claus gifts of course). The greatest gift you can receive for Christmas is definitely the power of giving.
