Students put hard work into good cause

St. Margaret Mary, Algonquin, students have been hard at work not only with school, but with stewardship.

Fifth-grade students participated in the Chores for Charity stewardship project in November and December, performing jobs at home to earn money to contribute.

The money collected was used to buy Christmas gifts for needy children and adults in the Algonquin/Lake in the Hills area. The students wrapped the gifts together and brought them over to the church.
