Hamptons of Hinsdale ahead of schedule

Construction at the The Hamptons of Hinsdale is pushing forward, putting the development ahead of schedule.

The Hamptons of Hinsdale is a townhouse and condominium community built by GSH Development.

There are 93 Abbey condominiums priced from the $300,000s and 26 Villa townhouses priced from the $700,000s.

"Construction on the first condominium building is progressing swiftly and the favorable weather we've experienced has allowed us to move ahead of schedule," said Don Price, president of Wexford Development.

The construction taking place at The Hamptons of Hinsdale includes foundation work and creation of the underground parking garage in the first building. The curbing, outdoor parking areas and streets are also getting paved, so the outline of the community in full scale can now be seen.

The community spans 12.5-acres and is bordered by mature trees and single-family homes. Designed as a maintenance-free neighborhood, The Hamptons of Hinsdale will have all outdoor landscape maintenance and snow removal taken care of through the monthly association fee.

Neighborhood highlights include a pond, wetland plantings, gazebos and parks.

Condominium buyers at the Abbeys can choose from nine different floor plans ranging in size from 1,262 to 2,239 square feet. The plans include one bedroom plus den, two bedroom and two bedroom plus den configurations, with 1½ or 2½ baths and one deeded parking space. The buildings include both ground level and below-grade parking.

Just 93 Abbeys condominiums have been planned, priced from $395,000 for the Biltmore, a one bedroom with den, up to $749,000 for the Wentworth, the largest two bedroom with den floor plan. The condominiums are designed as three and four-story "mid-rise" buildings.

Hamptons of Hinsdale also showcases the Villas, 26 townhouses designed with flexible layouts. The Villas are available in five floor plans, sized from 2,473 to 2,817 square feet, with three levels of finished living space featuring up to four bedrooms (including plans with first floor master suites), lofts, 2½ to 3½ baths and two-car attached garages. Fifth bedrooms are available in select plans. The Villas are priced from the $700s.

Buyers at The Hamptons of Hinsdale can still take advantage of attractive incentives, with up to $20,000 in free upgrades being offered along with flexible finance programs. Complete details are available at the on-site sales center.

The Hamptons of Hinsdale is being developed by GSH Development, a consortium of Wexford Development of Hinsdale and HJH Homes of Oak Brook.
