Community has homes ready
Buyers seeking quick delivery on a new home can plan a fast move with Santa-sized savings at Apple Creek Estates, a Kirk Homes community in Woodstock.
Both townhouses and single-family homes are offered in Kirk's master planned community, and a selection of both types of homes can be found among the Express Homes. Tens of thousands of dollars in savings can be obtained on these deluxe completed homes, although incentives vary depending on the home and the included features.

"Recently, we've talked to buyers who have sold their existing homes faster than they anticipated and find that they need a faster-than-expected timetable," said Janey Amidei, vice president of sales and marketing for Kirk Homes.
Apple Creek Estates, on the south edge of Woodstock, is comprised of 559 acres of rolling land, 200 of which are preserved open space.
Plans call for 746 single-family homes and 370 townhouses when the community is complete.
Base prices range from $246,995 to $333,995 for single-family homes, and six single-family model homes are open for viewing. Three townhouse plans, offering freedom from exterior maintenance, are base-priced from $172,495 to $197,995, and five models are open for viewing, demonstrating both two designs with basic included features and three models shown with upgrades.
Four of the single-family floor plans are featured among the Express Homes, and they range in size from 2,019 to 3,158 square feet with three or four bedrooms, 2½ baths, basements including walk-out and English basements and two and three-car garages. Prices range from $274,995 to $384,395, with most offering over $40,000 in savings.
One option is a Santa Fe floor plan with four bedrooms, 2½ baths, English basement with deck off the main floor and three-car garage, priced at $375,495.
The Santa Fe boasts a two-story foyer, living room and dining room separated by decorative pillars, spacious kitchen with entertaining-sized island and walk-in pantry, breakfast area with bay window, two-story super-sized family room, main-floor den and laundry room, master bedroom suite with his and hers walk-in closets and bath, loft and large secondary bedrooms.
Each of the three townhouse plans is represented among the Express Homes. They range in size from 1,248 to 1,583 square feet, with two bedrooms, two bedrooms and a loft or three bedrooms, 1½ to 2½ baths, basements in some buildings and two-car attached garages.
A Great Plaines with a full basement is one of the Express Homes offered at $239,995 with substantial savings. The Great Plaines is a 1,583-square-foot home with a two-story foyer, large great room, formal dining room, large kitchen with walk-in pantry, master bedroom with large walk-in closet and private bath, second bedroom, loft, laundry room and hall bath, patio and two-car attached garage.
The Welcome Center for the Apple Creek Estates single-family homes is on Gleneagle Drive off Lucas Road, a quarter mile west of Route 47. The Welcome Center for the townhouses is on Route 47 just north of Lucas Road.
