Some candidates advantages unfair
Presidential candidates for 2008 are like students with cell phones during a test. They are being given extra support from outsiders, and in some cases they even have someone telling them advice others cannot benefit from. In other words, they cheat.
Campaign front runners Senator Barack Obama and Senator Hillary Clinton are receiving more outside funding than any of the other candidates. A large percent comes from celebrities.
Obama's campaign received millions of dollars at a fundraiser organized by Oprah Winfrey. Winfrey said, "I haven't been actively engaged [in politics] before because there hasn't been anything to be engaged in."
As far as Clinton's campaign goes, it has recently been endorsed by actress/singer Barbra Streisand. This extra funding puts other Democratic candidates at a major economic disadvantage and makes the odds of the presidential race lopsided.
The candidate who has the largest advantage is Clinton. Her husband and Ex-President Bill Clinton is the primary reason Hillary Clinton is a front runner.
No other president has a previous president to look to for advice. Mr. Clinton has persuaded undecided voters to vote for Hillary. He has made a trip to New Hampshire which consisted of stops to raise support for his wife. This adds to her advantage by having a second campaigner, so this allows her to gain support in two places at once.
The front runners need to show America what they can do on their own without outside assistance. Only then can they win the election in a fair and unbiased manner.
