December programs: The following programs are scheduled at The Barn, 231 S. Civic Drive, Schaumburg. For more information, call Kiran Chaturvedi at (847) 524-7496.

• Today, Holiday wishes and blessings, free

• Saturday, Special weekend celebration for seniors and disabled friends, includes lasagna, garden and fruit salads, sweet table holiday gifts, $3 donation

• Saturday, Hope of community Church, $2 donation

• Monday, Smiley Monday, $3 donation

• Tuesday, CNN holiday party, $2.75-$3 donation

• Dec. 21, Honoring Ms. Dubek, free

• Dec. 21, Harris Bank holiday party, free

• Dec. 29, Special weekend party, $3 donation

Participants need to register in person and arrange their own transportation.

Lunch at The Barn: Community Nutrition Network's Schaumburg Township nutrition site at The Barn offers lunch for senior citizens and disabled friends.

The donation is $2.50. To make reservations, call Kiran Chaturvedi at (847) 524-7496.
