Wonderland of Lights: Clearbrook will host its third annual Wonderland of Lights Show being held every night, holidays included, through New Years Day at Arlington Park Racecourse, Arlington Heights. The 1.6 mile drive-through show features millions of colorful lights and hundreds of animated holiday scenes. Admission $10 per car Monday-Thursday; $12 per car Friday-Sunday. Home of the Sparrow: From 9:30 a.m.-7 p.m. Thursday you can support Home of the Sparrow by shopping the Ice House Mall, at 200 Applebee St., Barrington. Participating merchants will donate 20% of your total purchases that day when you mention Home of the Sparrow. Plus you will receive a $10 holiday shopping coupon.

Christmas tree sale: St. Andrew's youth groups, Club Scout Pack 98 and Boy Scout Troop 198 are holding a Christmas tree sale from 5:30-8:30 p.m. weekdays and from 9 a.m.-8:30 p.m. weekends at St. Andrew Lutheran Church, 10 S. Lake St., Mundelein. Prices range from $25 to $70. Wreaths and roping also available.

Holiday card program: The Leukemia Research Foundation holiday card program includes cards for many occasions, all can be personalized and customized as desired. Sample cards can be seen at www.leukemia-research.org. Contact Dorothy at (708) 599-5778 to receive a brochure by mail. $50 per box of 25 cards and envelopes, with one free line of personalization.

Home of the Sparrow holiday cards: Holiday cards to benefit Home of the Sparrow are sold in packets of 10 cards for $11.
