• Zachary Foster of Vernon Hills, a junior at Lake Forest College, was named to the dean's list for the 2006-07 academic year for attaining a grade point average of at least 3.60 for two consecutive semesters. Foster is a graduate of Vernon Hills High School.

• Megan McFall of Mundelein, a music education-vocal major at Millikin University, Decatur, was chosen by audition and will sing soprano as a member of Women's Choir for the 2007-08 season. McFall is a graduate of Mundelein High School.

• Diana C. Taylor of Libertyville, a junior at Connecticut College, New London, Conn., was named to the dean's list for the 2007 spring semester for earning a grade point average of at least 3.3.

• Brigette M. Napier of Antioch was named to the dean's list for the 2007 spring semester at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities campus, for achieving a grade point average of 3.66 or higher.

• Tyler Holm of Gurnee, a sophomore majoring in mechanical engineering in the College of Engineering at the University of Nebraska, Lincoln, was named to the dean's list/honor roll for the spring 2006-07 semester.

• Lynda Goldsmith of Grayslake recently received a doctorate in physical therapy from the Simmons College School for Health Studies in Boston, Mass.

• Brigid C. Somodji of Gurnee, a senior majoring in education at Saint Xavier University, Chicago, was named to the spring 2007 dean's list for achieving at least a cumulative grade point average of 3.75.

• Cadet Amber Reid-Watkins, granddaughter of Karen Reid-Price of Mundelein, was named to the Superintendent's List for the first six-week grading period of the 2007-08 school year for attaining at least a 3.5 B+ average in her college prep curriculum. Cadet Reid-Watkins has been attending Howe since March 2006.

• Marilyn Moellers of Libertyville was named to the spring 2007 semester dean's list at Saint Leo University for achieving a grade point average of 3.65 or higher. Moellers is a business administration management major at the university in Saint Leo, Fla.

• Bryan Jarett, son of Alex and Nancy Jarett of Vernon Hills, spent two weeks studying jazz at Birch Creek Music Performance Center in Door County, Wis., last summer He studies drums privately with Kevin Connelley. Jarett was selected to attend one of two Big Band Jazz sessions at the prestigious school.

• Andrea S. Behringer of Libertyville was named to the dean's list for the 2007 spring semester at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities campus, for achieving a grade point average of 3.66 or higher.
