• 82nd Airborne Division Association, made up of Airborne veterans from every airborne unit from World War II to present troopers is seeking members. The 82nd Airborne, the most decorated division in World War II, is still serving in Iraq and Afghanistan. • The 82nd Airborne Division Association is looking for "The Lost Trooper" -- any airborne veterans that served in the military over the past 65 years. The association has more than 28,000 members including active troopers at Ft. Bragg, N.C. and veterans. Local chapters hold regular meetings, dinner-dances, mini-reunions, annual picnics, school programs, parades and a national convention. • 82nd Airborne Division Association is trying to locate the "Lost Trooper" from all divisions after he has returned to civilian life from military service. • 100th Infantry Division (Century Division), which saw extensive combat in 1944/45 in France and Germany, is engaged in a nationwide effort to locate former members with whom contact has been lost as well as those veterans of the 100th who may not be aware of the association the veterans formed.
