Food drive success came from residents
Please allow me to extend a warm and heart-felt thank you to every individual and business who donated nonperishable food and toiletry items to our first-ever Make a Difference Day Food Drive. It was through the support of the residents and businesses of McHenry County that the food drive was a huge success.
In a time when the news is filled with reports of violence and hardship, it is truly incredible when a community rallies together to support those families most in need. This past week, we've delivered several loads of nonperishable food and toiletry items to food pantries throughout McHenry County.
