Fire displaces residents in Oakbrook Terrace

Fire left an Oakbrook Terrace house uninhabitable Tuesday night.

Oakbrook Terrace firefighters responded to the house fire at 1S115 Buttercup Lane around 7 p.m., officials said.

No one was injured. A damage estimate was not immediately available, but fire officials said there was significant damage to the house.

Fire officials called a box alarm around 7:30 p.m., bringing the following fire departments in to put out the blaze: Elmhurst, York Center, Lombard, Villa Park and Oakbrook.

Hillside and Westchester fire departments assisted at the station while others were at the blaze.
