College kid should grow up and study

Poor Michael Walters, to be forgiven for his failure and now wants his cake to eat too. (Nov. 26 Daily Herald article, regarding "grade forgiveness".)

Young man, I suggest you study hard for there is much to learn and safety nets are for emergencies, not for wasted opportunities. Perhaps you should consider adopting your attorney to be by your side as you stumble through life. It might be more cost effective.

By the way, did your school refund to you the monies you spent to fail the course? Time to grow up!
