Police services on agenda

The Hainesville village board will hold a special meeting at 1 p.m. today at the village hall, 100 N. Hainesville Road, to discuss police services. The board also plans to discuss advertising for consultants and staffing as well as the letter agreement between the villages of Hainesville and Round Lake Park. Currently, Hainesville pays the village of Round Lake Park for its police services, but conflict arose earlier this year after Round Lake Park claimed Hainesville had not paid a fair share of the cost and discussed possible litigation.

He will leave after meeting children and head up river before docking for the night at Kief's Reef at 3505 S. Also, people are being asked to donate an unwrapped toy for McHenry County Tots at any of the above locations.
