Busse Woods fire no cause for alarm

Smell burning coming from Busse Woods in Northwest Cook County? Don't worry said Cook County Forest Preserve spokesman Steve Mayberry.

"It's just routine."

The prescribed burning is done by a contractor a handful of times throughout the year, Mayberry said. Today's will finish by dusk, when the forest preserve closes, he said.
