Naperville man accused of damage spree

A Naperville man who police suspect is behind recent acts of vandalism is facing more allegations in Warrenville.

Raymond A. Snyder, 39, 407 Denali Drive, remained Wednesday in the DuPage County jail on a $35,000 bond. He is charged with felony criminal damage to property.

Police arrested him Tuesday on suspicion Snyder repeatedly shot at a window at Bank of America in Warrenville with a BB gun during a several-month period.

It's the second time he's been accused of vandalism in recent months.

Officers arrested Snyder in September on similar charges after he was accused of shooting out windows of a business at 2135 City Gate Lane in Naperville. At the time, police said they also recovered a BB gun.

In the latest allegation, Snyder shot a glass window at the bank, 28301 Diehl Road, on 10 different occasions over a series of months, Warrenville Detective Sgt. Tony Dutkovich said.
