Briefs: IFS Applications wins contract

SCHAUMBURG -- IFS Applications announced Tuesday that Keystone Dental Inc. has selected IFS for its enterprise resources planning and inventory control. Burlington, Mass.-based Keystone is a manufacturer of oral health-care products for the tooth replacement market and said it will need the applications to help manage its growth and meet FDA standards. IFS has operations in Schaumburg.

Sagent enters pact with Indian firm

SCHAUMBURG -- Privately-held specialty pharmaceutical firm Sagent Pharmaceuticals Inc. and India-based pharmaceutical manufacturer Astral Pharmaceutical Industries on Tuesday announced a deal for Sagent to gain U.S. regulatory approval for Astral injectable products and then market them in the United States.
