Veterans service shows there's hope

I had the honor of attending the veterans service at the Lutheran Home in Arlington Heights while watching the little children singing patriotic songs. There is still hope for this country to survive the negative thinkers.

Some groups find loopholes in our laws only to benefit their agenda. During World War II a German minister who said he kept quiet until they came for him. The silent majority will only stay still and quiet until our freedom is in turmoil.

Programs like the Lutheran lifts our spirit and rekindles our love for America.

Many thanks for the parents who raise their children to love honor and respect everyone.

The Lutheran Home is open for all it houses -- many veterans. Thanks to the home for this service and disappointed the Daily Herald wasn't present to enlighten the communities.

The home grew from a single house and handful of people. With the Lord's help and loving people of all religions, it's a landmark in the community.

Visit the home and talk with the residents. It's the next thing to home.
