Oates leads Judson men to victory

Streamwood graduate Chris Oates came up big for Judson University (3-2) as he scored the final 5 points in the last 1:51 to give the Eagles a 78-76 win over Iowa Wesleyan College. With just .04 left in the game, Oates nailed 2 free throws to secure the win for Judson.

Judson had five players score in double figures with DeWayne Robinson leading the way with 24 points. Justen Boyd had 16 followed by Oates with 13, Ilija Bojanic with 11, and Steffan Williams at 10. Oates recorded his first double-double of the year with 11 rebounds.

Women's basketball

Iowa Wesleyan 73, Judson 50: Taking a commanding lead from the beginning of the game, No. Iowa Wesleyan College (4-3) claimed a 73-50 win over Judson University (2-4). IWC ran out to a 20-6 lead in the first six minutes of the game.

Judson was led by Alicia Rovertoni with her first double-double with 11 points and 12 rebounds. Theresa Larson also had 11 points for Judson. Iowa Wesleyan's Kayleigh Epps lead all scorers with 29 points.
