Antiques and crafts
• The Kane County Flea Market offers hundreds of dealers with antiques and collectibles from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday or 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 2 at the Kane County Fairgrounds, 525 S. Housewalks and tours
• The Growing Place nursery and flower farm offers a special holiday event to visit the historic 1850s Thatcher/Hageman home at Montgomery road, just north of Ogden Avenue and three miles west of Westfield Fox Valley from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday. There is no charge for the event. Call (630) 820-8088.
• The Norwood Park Historical Society's 24th annual Holiday House tour is from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, beginning at the Norwood Park Field House, 5801 N. Natoma Ave., Chicago.

• The Frank Lloyd Wright Preservation Trust has tickets available online for its 2008 "Wright Plus" tours. Plans include an excursion to Mies van der Rohe's Farnsworth House in far Southwest suburban Plano, exclusive dinners in Wright-designed homes, a behind-the-scenes tour of the Robie House and rare interior tours of private Oak Park residences designed by Wright and his contemporaries. • The 20th annual Holiday Housewalk will be presented by the Mount Prospect Historical Society from 3:30 to 9 p.m. Friday. Six homes along blocks of Lonnquist Boulevard and one on South Main Street are featured. Early-bird cost is $20 ($22 day of walk), and tickets are available at a variety of Mount Prospect locations including Midwest Bank at 50 N. Main St.; Lions Park Rec Center, 411 S.
