Boothe-Shaw duo pace Devils again

Sarah Boothe and Lory Shaw continued to dominant down low for Warren's girls basketball team Tuesday.

Boothe scored 24 points and grabbed 16 rebounds, and Shaw had 10 points and 13 boards, as the Blue Devils defeated host Simeon 47-33 in the New Trier tournament.

Shana Shepherd added 6 points for Warren (3-0). Boothe, Shaw and Shepherd each had 4 assists. Boothe -- who's averaging 26 points in Warren's first three games -- recorded 4 blocked shots, as well.

Larrita Gipson led Simeon with 10 points.

Warren next plays Friday at New Trier (4 p.m.).

Wheaton Academy 51, Antioch 24: At Geneva, Alexa Sharkey and Jennifer Lee scored 16 and 13 points, respectively, for Wheaton Academy.

Antioch (0-2) received 8 points apiece from Andi Potkonjak and Brittany Deem. Deem also had 9 rebounds.

Antioch will next play Elgin on Friday at Geneva.
