Man charged with battery in Naperville stabbing
A man accused of stabbing an Aurora man in the neck during a weekend argument at Naperville's downtown train station has been arrested.
Naperville police said 47-year-old Mark B. Crueger was picked up at a Wheaton homeless shelter late Monday after receiving a tip.
The victim in Sunday's attack did not suffer life-threatening injuries in the attack and was treated and released at Naperville's Edward Hospital. Police said the Aurora man was stabbed with a nail file.
Crueger was charged with one count of simple battery, but police also discovered he had outstanding warrants in three other cases. He was transported to the DuPage County jail in Wheaton where he is awaiting a bond hearing.
