Take time to thank a veteran for efforts

From the gallant few remaining members of America's "greatest generation" to our fine young men and women home from Iraq, Afghanistan and overseas, our dedicated citizen soldiers continue to answer our nation's call in time of need.

While our national debt of gratitude to our veterans will remain far beyond recompense, a sincere word of encouragement, a handshake and warm embrace will convey that critical gesture of thanks most assuredly deserved by all.

Take time to thank a veteran for the priceless liberties we all too often take for granted.
