Batavia

The city's Celebration of Lights Festival is from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Nov. 25 on the Batavia Riverwalk. Caroling will precede the 6 p.m. tree lighting. Visit bataviaparks.org

Elburn

The Elburn Christmas Stroll will take place from 5 to 8 p.m. Nov. 30. It will begin with the 5 p.m. arrival of Santa Claus, who will light the village Christmas tree in front of the American Legion at 112 N. Main St. Visit elburn.com

Geneva

The Geneva Christmas Walk begins at 6 p.m. Dec. 7. The tree on the courthouse lawn on Third Street will be lit soon after. There are two days of activities at the Christmas Walk, and the House Tour also is on those two days. Visit genevachamber.com

North Aurora

The village's Christmas tree will be lit in conjunction with the dedication of the Walk of the Snowmen at 1 p.m. Dec. 2 at Island Park, just south of the State Street Bridge.

St. Charles

The Lighting of the Lights ceremony is at 5 p.m. Nov. 23, as part of the Holiday Homecoming Weekend. The Electric Light Parade is at 5:30 p.m. Nov. 24. Visit dtown.org.
