Streamwood cops seek armed robber

Streamwood police are looking for a man who held up a local gas station Wednesday night.

According to police reports, a male in his 40s walked into the Citgo gas station, 908 E. Irving Park Road, around 8:20 p.m. and asked the store clerk to hand over cash.

The man then showed her a gun and also demanded cigarettes. He took about $300 and fled the scene, according to reports.

He was wearing a dark scull cap and is described as having a medium build and wearing gold-brim glasses.
