The broadcast will be available from noon to 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Mundelein fire station, 1000 Midlothian Road. Those who want to attend should call Kathy Needham, (847) 377-2367.

Police to increase patrols

Lake Zurich Police will crackdown on drunken drivers and motorists who fail to wear their seat belts this Thanksgiving. The "Click It or Ticket" enforcement campaign begins Nov. 18 and runs through Nov. 25. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, 31,415 passenger vehicle occupants died in crashes across the nation in 2005, and more than half, 16,172, were not wearing seat belts. Lake Zurich Police will have extra officers on the road for this campaign, funded through a grant from the Illinois Department of Transportation.
