Bears uncertain about Sunday's QB
Bears coach Lovie Smith said it's "unclear" who will start at quarterback for the Bears on Sunday.
For now, the Seattle Seahawks will have to prepare for both Brian Griese and Rex Grossman.
Rex Grossman came off the bench after Griese was knocked out with a shoulder injury and rescued the Bears with a go-ahead touchdown pass Sunday against Oakland.
But Smith didn't give Grossman back his starting job on Monday. Smith said that Griese needs medical clearance before he can play.
"It's unclear who will start Sunday," Smith said.
Grossman, benched in favor of Griese after three games because he had six interceptions and one TD pass, hit Bernard Berrian with a 59-yard pass for the go-ahead score with 3:11 to go Sunday against the Raiders.
The Bears return to practice Wednesday when there could be a better idea of who is running the first team.
