Kaneland bomb threat keeps students in classroom

Kaneland High School received a bomb threat this afternoon, which officials deemed not credible after an investigation.

Officials received the threat at 12:10 p.m. Students were told to stay in their classrooms until dismissal at 2:30 p.m.

After-school events and practices were canceled, while the Kane County Sheriff's Department conducted a search.
