Batavia
• Anthony D. McKinley, 29, of 5114 W. Kinzie St., Chicago, was charged with obstructing justice after an incident at 1261 E. Wilson St., Apt. 207, at 1:54 a.m. Tuesday, according to a police report.
Kane County
• An employee reported five reels of copper electrical wire and four hand-rolled coils of copper wire were stolen sometime between 4 p.m. Nov. 1 and 7:30 a.m. Tuesday from a locked storage container at the Commonwealth Edison sub-station on Bliss Road in Sugar Grove Township. The loss was estimated at $5,450, according to a police report.
• Charles Brian Sabin, 54, of Lamont Court in Elgin, was arrested for driving under the influence at 2:15 a.m. Saturday at Route 20 and Nesler Road in Elgin Township. He was driving a 2005 silver Mercedes-Benz. He was also charged with reckless driving, driving in the wrong lane, failure to signal, improper lane usage and driving with a suspended license, according to a police report.
• An employee of Chicago International Trucks on Keslinger Road in Geneva Township reported to police a Dumpster on the property was set on fire about 2:39 p.m. Saturday. The fire burned off the plastic lid and damaged the exterior paint, causing about $300 in damage.
• A maroon dirt bike worth about $150 was reported stolen sometime between 5 p.m. Sunday and 6 a.m. Monday off a driveway on north James Drive in St. Charles Township, according to sheriff's police.
• A Magna 20-inch bicycle valued at $150 was reported stolen sometime between 10 p.m. Sunday and 8:15 a.m. Monday from in front of an apartment on James Drive in St. Charles Township, according to sheriff's police.
• The owner of a 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix told Kane County sheriff's police the driver's-side window of his car was broken about 5:15 p.m. Tuesday when it was parked on Randall Road in Aurora Township. Damage was estimated at $185.
North Aurora
• Rene Garcia, 22, of 1106 S. 5th St., DeKalb, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving under the combined influence, unsafe lane change and no valid driver's license after a traffic stop near Randall Road and Oak Street at 2:05 a.m. Saturday, according to a police report.
St. Charles
• Vincent G. Reiling, 48, of 27W636 Swan Lake Drive, Wheaton, was arrested at 7:49 p.m. Monday and charged with retail theft after stealing $280.50 in merchandise from Von Maur, 3810 E. Main St., according to a police report.
• A wooden scarecrow decoration valued at $40 was stolen Sunday or Monday off a door stoop on the 1200 block of Rita Avenue.
