Blessed Sacrament Church will host a pancake breakfast from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Sunday in the parish hall of the church, 801 Oak St., North Aurora.

The cost for all-you-can-eat pancakes, with sausage, orange juice and coffee is $4.50 for adults, $3.50 for children ages 3 to 10, and $17 maximum for families.

• The Community Congregational Church of Elburn hosts a harvest dinner and concert Nov. 17 at the church, 100 E. Shannon St.

The dinner is from 4 to 6:30 p.m. The duo Kenned and Carl will perform Broadway music at 7 p.m.

The performers, Kenned Maclver and Carl DiSanto, have performed together for 18 years in Chicago area venues. They each began their careers as musical and stage actors in New York and Chicago, having performed at Drury Lane, the Goodman Theater and other Chicago theatres.

Tickets are $10 each for the dinner and concert. Tickets may be reserved online at www.ccc-elburn.org or by calling the church office at (630) 365-0163. All proceeds go to support the missions of the Elburn Community Congregational Church.

Mothers

Mothers at the Well will meet from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Nov. 30 at St. Patrick Church, 6N491 Crane Road in St. Charles.

Jane Englund will present "Preparing our Hearts and Homes for Christmas."

Englund draws on her experience as a wife and mother, as well as her evangelical faith, to inspire and motivate women of all ages. She will share ideas on how to prepare your heart, the hearts of your family and your home in the midst of the Christmas rush. The presentation will offer ideas for Christmas traditions and organizational and decorating tips.
