Naperville school gets interim principal

Moira Arzich will take the helm of Naperville's Spring Brook Elementary School while the principal is on medical leave, officials said Monday.

Arzich, assistant principal at Fry Elementary, will make the switch immediately to fill in for Principal Cynthia McKesson, whose leave was announced last week.

"We will be very sad not to have Mrs. Arzich with us here at Fry, but know that her skills and experience make her an excellent candidate for this job," Fry Principal Kim Stephens said in an e-mail to parents. "We wish her all the best."

Indian Prairie Unit District 204 officials would not disclose the nature of McKesson's medical leave, citing privacy concerns, and are unsure of when she will return.
