Illinois residents need to speak up
Isn't it about time that the residents of Illinois started showing a little righteous indignation toward the ineptitude of our state legislators and our governor? I simply can't believe that they have wasted so much time and accomplished so little when it come to a state budget. This is even more amazing when you realize that the Democrats are in control of both houses, and they can't even agree among each other as to what course to take! This whole mess has made them a laughing stock and has caused most voters to lose confidence in this pack of fools.
It seems that all they are interested in is making the other guy look bad. The leadership of the Democrats obviously don't like each other, and that's OK, but as residents of Illinois, we the voters should start voicing our displeasure. Perhaps we should investigate the possibility of a recall election! After all, these folks were elected by us to go to Springfield and do a job, a job that they appear to be unable to do. In the private sector you get fired if you can't do your job.
Any thoughts?
