Briefs: Nielsen signs deal with Skyy Spirits

SCHAUMBURG -- The Nielsen Co. announced Thursday it signed an agreement with Skyy Spirits, a Gruppo Campari company that markets and distributes luxury spirits brands in North America. Schaumburg-based Nielsen will provide measurement information for Skyy Spirits' U.S. retail sales. Nielsen will track products from wholesalers to retailers. In addition, Nielsen will perform similar services for Gruppo Campari in Italy, Germany, Brazil and Switzerland.

United adds flights to Brazil, Asia

ELK GROVE TOWNSHIP -- United Airlines on Thursday said it is beginning nonstop service on Sunday from Los Angeles to Hong Kong and from Washington Dulles to Rio de Janeiro. The Hong Kong flights will be on B747 aircraft. The flight to Rio de Janeiro will be a B767 aircraft.
