Conference victory: The Stevenson Patriots traveled to the far south suburbs recently, and came away with a 3-0 victory over the Mount Carmel Caravan in a HIT conference game. Stevenson JV is now 2-0 in the conference.

Goalie Josh Schmaren made a save in the first minute of the game and shortly after Stevenson kept the puck in the offensive zone until Myles Lobus was able to convert a pass from Marc Weiner with a quick wrist shot from just outside the right post. The Patriots had several scoring opportunities later in the period on two consecutive shifts in which Kollin Fairbanks, Gordon Ochi and Justin One cycled the puck to and keeping it away from Mount Carmel's defenseman.

In the second period, Max Mora intercepted a Mount Carmel pass and made a quick outlet pass to One at center ice who moved the puck to Fairbanks who scored.

Stevenson continued its dominance in the third period and scored on a goal by Ricky Razdolsky with an assist from Jake Gould.
