Briefs: Nasdaq to list BioSante stock

LINCOLNSHIRE -- BioSante Pharmaceuticals Inc. Tuesday said it has received notification from the Nasdaq Stock Market that its common stock is approved for listing on Nasdaq Global Market. BioSante's board of directors approved the decision to switch from The American Stock Exchange to Nasdaq. BioSante is going through the necessary regulatory process and expects to begin trading on Nasdaq under the symbol BPAX in early to mid-November.
