Left still intent on harming security

The real "inconvenient truth" confronting this great nation in a time of war resides in the left's calculated measures to undermine our national security.

Agenda-driven congressional resolutions solely designed to enrage our Turkish allies serve no useful purpose other than to weaken a critical alliance while undercutting the president's foreign policy.

Deliberate moves to dilute vital provisions of the Patriot Act, currently pursuing terrorists bent upon devastating acts of violence here at home, score valuable points with those who would prefer simply that America fail in that endeavor.

Most egregious, MoveOn.org's portrayal of Gen. David Petraeus as "General Betray Us" and Hillary's condescending rant, "… the willing suspension of disbelief," betray a visceral contempt for the military and an unabashed willingness to politicize the citizen soldier defending our freedoms, thereby rendering America exposed and vulnerable.

Thank God we are most fortunate to be citizens in this amazing land, where responsible dissent reigns supreme within the thoughtful framework of the First Amendment.

May we forever employ this precious liberty to expose most aggressively the fraud perpetrated by these misguided purveyors of unjustified character assassination, destructive innuendo and self-absorbed machinations of political gamesmanship.
