Immediate move-in offered at Talamore
Timing can be everything when buying a new home -- whether it concerns a new job, growing family or simply a changing season.
Three Chicago home builders are offering immediate-delivery homes to buyers who truly feel there is no time like the present.
Quick-delivery homes are full of advantages for eager buyers who want to settle in this fall and avoid the six- to nine-month construction wait typically associated with a new home. From luxury master bathrooms to stainless steel kitchen appliances, these professionally-designed homes take the uncertainty out of the home buying process.
In Woodstock, for example, Deer Point Homes created its own fall classic: two model homes ready for immediate move-in at The Ponds of Bull Valley.
"One of the models even has a Cubs/White Sox-themed children's bunk bedroom, which pays homage to one of the season's best traditions," said Naomi Murphy, director of sales and marketing for Deer Point Homes.
The models, the 2,626-square-foot Medinah and the 2,200-square-foot Sawgrass, both have four bedrooms and 2½ baths. They are priced at $363,990 and $275,990, respectively, which includes current price reductions. Both homes feature custom paint throughout the home, window treatments and framed artwork, all of which are included in the sales price.
Deer Point is also offering a model for sale at Shepherds Crossing, a community of 238 single-family homes in north-suburban Zion. The three-bedroom, 2½-bath Galway model is priced at $215,090, which reflects a current price reduction.
Upgraded inclusions are another reason fall buyers are considering quick-delivery homes such as the three-bedroom Foxridge at Kimball Hill Homes' Edgewater community in southwest-suburban Shorewood.
The 2,428-square-foot Foxridge offers stainless steel appliances, oak railings, a kitchen island, morning room addition, a fireplace, and 9-foot main-floor ceilings.
At Talamore, a master-planned community in Huntley, Lennar offers single-family homes that are also ready for immediate move-in.
"These homes are a great option for any buyers in a time crunch -- especially corporate transferees, which are so common in this area," said Leigh Nevers, vice president of marketing for Lennar's Chicago region. "Our Matisse plan, given its size and layout, provides a great value for a family looking to get in before the holidays. And the logic of Lennar, where the cost of the home includes everything a buyer wants and needs, makes the decision to buy that much easier."
For example, all of Lennar's single-family homes at Talamore include GE stainless steel appliances, a luxury master bathroom, wood-burning fireplaces and 9-foot first-floor ceilings.
Lennar currently has three Matisse homes available for immediate move-in. Priced at $436,900, the homes offer five bedrooms and three baths and measure 3,177 square feet.
